BAGGED MISCANTHUS LOGS

We are delighted to become stockists for Burlyburn miscanthus heat logs. Produced at the organic Burlerrow Farm in North Cornwall, these logs provide a high heat, long lasting, eco-friendly alternative to hardwood logs.

Miscanthus, or elephant grass, is one of the most environmentally beneficial and sustainable crops grown in the UK. It actively captures and stores carbon, resulting in a direct and positive effect on climate change.

Our logs are the by-product of the manufacture of miscanthus animal bedding. This waste material is processed under high compressive forces to produce 100% natural briquettes that are clean and easy to use. They don’t spark or spit and there are no additional adhesives or other bonding materials used in the manufacture.

The logs are ideal for wood burners, open fires, chimineas, BBQs or any solid fuel appliances. Their compact, high heat construction makes them ideally suited to use on canal narrow boats.

Burlyburn Heat Logs are environmentally sustainable and carbon neutral making them the natural choice in a world of ever increasing climate awareness and rising fuel prices. 

I have tested them thoroughly myself and they are a very good alternative to wood logs. They work well on their own or together with normal logs. I found them very good at 'staying the distance' when you want to bank-up your fire or burner at night. You will be pleasantly surprised the following morning.
